(415 m above sea level) – the so-called Wallachian Nativity Scene in the Štramberská Uplands. The town lies 9 km to the east of Nový Jičín. The local castle was built as a “watch castle”. Since 1783 it has been a ruin, and only the fortress of the so-called “Štramberská trúba“ has been preserved, the observation tower of which has been restored. A pastry is a specialty, the so-called “štramberské uši“, with which the historical legend of the Turk raids is connected.
